Children and ETOH

A major problem for this anti-drinking campaign seems to be their spokesman. . .
“It’s the perfect drink for a child,” lamented Judi Vining, coordinator of the Coalition to Prevent Underage Drinking in Long Beach, N.Y. She has started a campaign to alert parents and law enforcers in her area, and persuade retailers not to carry the product.
I guess they do look fun! Then again, I am over 21.

Happy mornings
Friday, March 23, 2007
Today I followed through with what has become a twice a week (monday and friday) habit for me since last summer. Today, I got on my scale (I have the one that sends electricity through you to check BFP and Water percentage). Today my scale gave me good news - weight, well below my latest goal; BFP, below the 'obesity' line; H20 into the "average" range. If I can maintain for 2 weeks, I get to set new goals!
Now before you freak out - my day does not revolve around my scale, I don't ultimately worry about these numbers when they go back up (which they will do on any given day), and most importantly I ultimately care more about being healthy than any of this information - but after the very very very crappy day I had yesterday, this may indicate a turn for the better.
in related news: I am now running in the morning with a friend. It is certainly making a difference in my overall mood.
